Black Screen after installing Ubuntu 12.10 on Samsung nc110
my problem is this: I installed Ubuntu 12.10, parallel to my Windows 7 on my new Samsung Netbook.The installation worked fine and right after starting the netbook, I get to decide which OS I want to launch. Now when I try to launch 12.10 it looks like it is doing something because the ubuntu loading symbol appears and then after some text which apperas, just a black screen with a blinking cursor which I can't use to type in any commands. I looked for a solution for my problem but couldn't find any yet. I installed Ubuntu the 3rd time now. The last time I made sure to have an internet connection during the installation so Ubuntu can update itself. Still nothing but a black screen after booting Ubuntu. Does somebody know what's the problem here? What am I supposed to do? Is there even a way to solve this? Ahja I have to add I'm not a ubuntunerd! That's the first time I get in contact with ubuntu. I want to use it instead of my shitty windows 7 starter edition! Thanks already for every kind of help I get here! greetings Jonny
