Manhattan and White Plains Researchers Refute Free Will on Live MNN Call-In Show

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 12, 2012

The two independent researchers, who go by the stage names ?The Messenger? and ?The Truth Machine,? are premiering the show on MNN?s Lifestyle Channel 2, (TWC 56, RCN 83, FiOS 34) this Wednesday, January 18, at 11pm EST. The producer, who wants to simply be known as ?The Messenger,? and his co-host, George Ortega, will take calls from Manhattan?s cable TV viewers, and from viewers across the world, as the show streams live over the Internet.?

The word is finally out that free will is a myth. New Scientist magazine?s April 16, 2011 cover story was titled ?Free Will; The Illusion We Can?t Live Without.? The British science weekly followed up on May 14, 2011 with a special report by deputy editor, Graham Lawton, titled ?The Grand Delusion.? Lawton writes, ?We all have a sense of agency -- the conviction that even though we did one thing, we could have done another, and that at any given moment we have free choice of any number of actions. Yet, it seems that this is an elaborate illusion created by your brain. The conclusion is inescapable. We really are deluded."

The Messenger, a lifelong Manhattan resident, is author of the book Enlightenment Through Entitlement. Ortega, from White Plains, New York, produces and hosts the cable and Internet television show ?Exploring the Illusion of Free Will.? His recently published book by the same name is comprised of edited transcripts of the first eighteen episodes of the show.

Decades ago, creationism gave way to the scientific truth of evolution. Today, the false belief that we human beings have a free will is giving way to the astonishing scientific truth that our human will is actually causal, and unconscious. The Messenger and Ortega have clearly been destined to bring this truth about the nature of human will to the public spotlight. Viewers who tune in and call up can discover for themselves how fate decides our every thought, feeling, and action. Myth Free Will airs every Wednesday at 11pm, EST.
